Rate my 3DS purchases

Over a week has passed since I bought my 3DS and so far I've been pleased with it. Than again out of the 33:03 hours I've clocked up on it, 22:20 hours have been spent on Tales of the Abyss. Pullbox comes second at 2:23 hours. I'm not going to get all soulsnatcher fanboy shit about it but I like my 3DS. Mainly because of TotA. Ok, just because of TotA.

I've also decided to buy some 3DS gaems. I picked up OoT, Dead or Alive and Ghost Recon. Combined its costing me

I've heard decent things on Ghost Recon, only reason it didn't tempt me was because I'm really done with strategy games.

Dead or Alive looked kinda shit, I don't think too highly of 3D fighters that don't have "Soul" and "Calibur" in the names though.

Ocarina of Time is laughable. I paid $10 for the Virtual Console version.

[/quote] The Virtual Console version is virtually unplayable in this day and age with that super-low framerate, fog and muddy visuals. OOT 3D practically gives the game a makeover.

I've had mine for over half a year and only got between 50-100 (Less than my time on Black Ops and Pokemans)

No. A combination of price and selection has put me off it to be honest. I'm still slightly amazed at myself for spending a tenner on Shantae: Risky Revage. The pricing on the eShop is pretty appalling. I'm looking at PSN and I'm finding content there much more reasonable and I'm far from a fan of PSN.

I thought Nintendo gamers prided themselves on not caring about visuals?

Even then, it played fine, it's not like it was chugging along at 10FPS.

Europeans only hope for an Atlus game seems to be either Nintendo themselves or Ghostlight, which did an amazing work for the PSP and PS3 tittles (and they did announce they were working on bringing over Overclocked, so that's a good sign).

Also, Ghost Recon is a pretty good strategy game, although somewhat dif from most strategy rpg's.
Oh, and yeah, most games on the eShop are pretty expensive, although some are pretty fun time killers that you can get for 2€.

Well, other than those the only one I see that would be willing to do it is Rising Star Games, they publish a lot of games by atlus that would otherwise never make it here.

There;s Deep SIlver published Catherine and maybe Square Enix who published Persona 4.
