Playing with emulators and posting video's on youtube.

Seems like a lot of fun, I am sure my video's suck but I will try to make them better!!!

Anyway if anyone is curious about them (just 2 video's right now on the newly released ePSXe 2.05)

My youtube channel, feel free to critic them or leave a comment if you want. I will try to answer any questions or demands lol (unless 20,000 people comment then I might not be able to answer them all... lol)

Sonic Angel Knight I would say it depends on what you mean by better... I think those other programs are great video editing programs (I can barely use them due to IQ concerns but they are fantastic) where Shadow Play really is just capture software for your games or desktop. Shadow Play is great for my purposes but I think the limit for recording is 20 minutes and it records to MP4.

Hope that kinda answers some of your question? lol

Well i just ask, it reminds me of the nvidia shield instant replay feature, it records videos at 1080P (1920x1080) 30 FPS, Stereo AAC 4800 H.264X MP4 files and look good. :)

I wanted to upload some gameplay videos from it but who would watch it? My plan was to compare it to my usual method of encoding vidoes to see which was more graphically impressive quality wise.

I tried using Windows 10 built in software to record video before I tried the Shadow play.... Lets just say the quality between the two was night and day. Shadow play looks pretty much as it looked when I was playing it, the Windows Xbox Video tool thing, the video was choppy and looked like ass. THEN it wouldn't record video from my emulators because "This is not a game supported" blah blah... But it had trouble just recording my desktop and browser so yeah... nope.

Well i had experienced with encoding videos in the past (Before shadow play was a thing) But i mean i keep trying with classic games, just out of curious reasons, I was wondering how to make retro games look best and had some ideas, i put on youtube but i get some hits or misses every now and then.

I forgot my last upload.

Both OBS and Shadowplay are good programs, both of them beat FRAPS any day; no sense in paying for a program that kills performance when these two programs have little to no impact.

Edit: Quick suggesting, with ePSXe, have you considered turning on GTE accuracy to reduce the 3D wobble/warping?

TotalInsanity4 yeah IF you have Windows 10 AND a USB Xbox 360 pad you can just hit the big Xbox button in the middle to bring up an on-screen menu take a pic or record a video.... the video part was useless to me though.
