My Social Anxiety Problem

Alright. I know it's tedious to deal with, and othen times even plain annoying to have.

Social Anxiety is the fear of social communication related to disrespect, or calling people out with VIA disses. It mainly has to do with how people believe they are talking to them. An example would be being called out indirectly, or directly.

Now first off I don't absolutely rage at posters for calling me out, or messing with me. But I othen do bad things. Those bad things would normally be calling the person out if I believe they are calling me out in anyway... Just like all those other Social Comunication Blogs, yes I do have Autisum, but that does not mean I am not normal. I just need "training"

So wanted to apologize to a few people I may have called out during the time I had joined. I find it true to myself it's messed up to do to people at times when a discussion/topic has nothing to do with me lol. It's basically like going into a room not knowing what to expect.

I don't really see it as a disorder, it's mostly just one of my habits I have, I see it as a gift as well in terms of getting work done, or finished. What's bad about it is regular social comunication which is annoying as fuck. If someone literally says "Oh that guy smells", I would think they are talking to me, and call them out :glare:. I know super tedious.


So I wanted your guys feelings on this. I normally had this "illness" so to speak happen to me this year, how do you guys normally control this, (If you had ever had this happen to you, or if your dealing with Autisum.) I normally try to completely avoid the topic, or just stop participating, but sometimes my sarcasiun takes over, and I start making jokes on threads like EOF, and such.

People (such as bots.) Don't normally make me angry as much, since they are just a computer saying things on the forums. But in the case someone actually calls me out I get ticked based on what the subject was.

So yeah no a whole lot to talk about here. This is kind of the end of the blog post so :P.

I have it too and can share in your frustrations about being contacted out of the blue. Sometimes I will put off replying to PMs for a long time or indefinitely if it overwhelms me too much. :ph34r:
 
@Alkéryn how? :O. No matter what I do I pretty much never get this problem out of my head... I'm guessing it's a slightly natural thing that occurs?
 
Well I pushed myself out of the "confort zone" if you know what i mean well i didn't realy had the choice, i kinda felt in love ^^ so I forced myself to improve and become a better version of myself, I hadn't the choice ^^
but I wish you the best knowing that it isn't the easiest thing to do but it is possible ^^

Just think that in the begigning i could even say "hi" even to my friends and I was the akward super shy weirdo of my school and now i can even talk and become friend to complete strangers so I think with enough effort and determination it is possible to beat it off
 
Love will do that to you. I've had to get out of my shell for that reason. Also, like you said, to be a better version of myself and get things done. It still overwhelms me a lot but I try to work through it. I had a sudden fear of driving a few years ago (after driving for a long time) and finally worked through that because my ex pissed me off with bitching about it.
 
What helped me the most with it is the fact that I started Sport and loosed 23 kg but trust me doing sport regularly (3 to 6 times a week) helped me a lot even to beat my social anxiety it was like a "release" =)
 
talk to a doctor and get prescribed a mild benzodiazepine such as klonopin to relieve the symptoms while simultaneously going to therapy to help out with the actual problem. anxiety can be crippling and when combined with other mental health issues it can be particular difficult to handle without proper treatment.
 
I'm kinda against medication for mental issues I think the best is to fix it by yourself

Also I'm not going to be going the medication route. You should only take medication if it's an extreme case of social anxiety.

    I personally handled a call from the second highest person at Raytheon. That call bothered me a lot... The guy was nice and smart what bothered me was the way management basically just blew him off instead of going the extra mile to help him.
