Tomorrow I have a bit of cash to spend. First it's off to the bank to exchange $30 in rolls of coins and cash a $50 check, and then I'll have $230 in bills. Then I'm heading to Best Buy. I'll be getting the red special edition DSi XL, because I want it to go with my red special edition DS Phat for some reason. I'll probably sell the Mario Kart DS cartridge or something. I mean, the bundle is only $10 more and it has the sweet XL, MKDS, and 3 (probably lousy) DSiWare titles, and if I can sell a brand-new copy of MKDS for $10 or more it'll be the same as buying the normal version of the XL. Then I'm going to get a one-month Runescape membership, because a recent post on the temp reminded me that if you're a member and can ignore the community, RS is a damn good MMO. They've been making improvements too, and should be bringing back free trade and the wilderness. Finally, I'm going to pick up a Classic Controller Pro. From what I've heard, pretty much every game it can be used with is more enjoyable with it. I just finished re-downloading Monster Hunter Tri (my HDD got corrupted last time I had it), so it'll be nice to finally be able to play that game with its intended controller. These three purchases (if I calculated right) will come to around $220.50 including tax, leaving me with about $10 to blow on whatever.
After that, tomorrow afternoon it's back to my grandmother's apartment. We were there pretty much the entire day, and it was mind-numbingly boring. Enjoyable for the first few hours, but after that everyone was just lying on the couch trying to take a nap. A few more relatives will be there tomorrow and I don't think we'll be staying as long, so it won't be so bad. I'm just hoping the prime rib is as good tomorrow as it was today.
And that is/was my holiday weekend.
