My computer is probably dead

Welp, that sucks. My computer doesn't want to work anymore as when i turn in on, nothing on the monitor is showing. So it seems the computer is probably dead...for good. I'm using the laptop instead. I don't know if my PC will work or not, because there might be still a chance, but we will see that tomorrow.

Also don't ask me if you could guys help me with fixing the computer. I have my "bro" to fix it instead, but he doesn't have that much time to fix it, but who knows?

Hmmmm I actually had this same issue. Does your pc have a CMOS battery in it? What gpu do you have? What I did to fix my issue Tuesday way I unplugged the pc, switched off the back power switch, held the power button for about 15 seconds. Opened my old pc up and detached the gpu. If you have a cmos battery, just take the battery out and short the cmos reset pins on the board. (This just resets the bios.) I didn't have the clip to put on the pins, so I just shorted it out with a screw driver :rofl2:
After that I just put the cmos battery back in, blew out the gpu lane, inserted the gpu making sure it locked in good and it booted up fine.

My gpu actually would lose power as soon as it would boot up, so the pc would post but it couldn't display it... My motherboard is most likely on it's last legs. But it's not my pc anymore xD I haven't used that thing in ages so I gave it to my little sister.

Hopefully this helps you out. Took me 3 days to get mine to boot properly.

Either your RAM sticks died or your soldered GPU shat itself.
Also, there's a chance your CPU fried out or your pc died from asthma due to crap loads of dust overflowing and blocking vents.

Probably seems so. The second side of my pc has been left open for years, so that maybe is the reason, but i'm not clearly sure.

beautiful :) That pic makes me want back to IT job. Try to remove all the spiders web and check capacitors condition (bulged or not) same you can check capacitors inside atx power supply.

Made from natural silk, very environmentally friendly!
Is that Egyptian silk? Fancy man, not even CableMods provide that kind of luxury

I can bet that all capacitors are in good condition. Worked on a pc, quite similar to this one, 2 years ago. It was like the best pc you could buy. But it was forgotten during the move to a new house. Cleaned it, worked flawlessly

but i see a small black stain on some of them or maybe I'm wrong.. that's why its interesting. Power issue is mostly tied to capacitors.
