Out of curiosity, how do you like your RC-690 case? I heard it's a bit plastic-ey, and I'm not sure whether to buy this or the RC-590. (The RC-590 only comes with 1 fan, if I remember correctly)

Seriously man, you badly need a new desk. Also I think I have the same speakers as you, they are pretty badass!

I'm loving it so far. But the akward positioning of the power buttons on my case sometimes means that I accidentally turn it off when I move the chair closer to it, seeing as I bump into it. Also, the PSU is put at the bottom so its a bit of a stretch making it reach the necessary ports because of the annoying placement. Other than that, its fucking awesome. Casefans make no sound whatsoever, USB ports are conveniently placed on top, and it looks really classy.

That desk is too painfully small for such a good computer.

Is that an amish-made desk?

the x230 doesnt have that powerful of a magnet in it

Fuck yes! We should get more people to buy this and expand our little club. Shakraka and Antoligy totally need to buy it and we'll have a grand total 5 members :3

Love the cm-690 case. The only thing I think is missing is a heatsink mount on the actual case itself to keep the stress off the motherboard. Also, I've seen some super clean wire management for this case, but I can't seem to pull it off.

Apparently you have to run the cables behind the plate that holds the motherboard. I'm too lazy to do that though...

What temps are you getting with that cooler? I have the same cooler but its for AMD. I'm getting about 58 C on full load (Prime95) and 31 C idle.

Man, I should have got the RC-690 . But its $15 more then what my full sized case with two 250mm fans cost.
