Life just isn't worth living anymore

/slightlyoverdramatic

So I finally decided to go about buying something i'd been wanting to buy for a loooong time now.

"Nendoroid Plus Plush Series No.34 Saber Extra and No.35 Caster Set"
gift_saber_extra07.jpg

I found them on ebay ages ago for something like $120+30 shipping. At the time, couldn't justify it. Buuut recently I finally decided it was time to buy them.

Go to search them up.
They no longer exist. Anywhere. No shop on the fucking internet sells them. I waited too long and now they're gone forever.

Albeit i'm not the best ever at searching but yeah. Just. Fuck life and all that jazz, I can't find 'em. Completely my fault, I know. But still dammit, this sucks.

I refuse to ever buy an anime figurine, but i'm content with buying plushies from the Nendoroid Plus Plush series, since they're pretty damn adorable (I own a Dead Master and Black Rock Shooter plushie).

tl;dr: Life is over.

Well, a friend of mine collects them and got them when they came out, you'll prolly find them in a few months, if it's like the other nendoroids, they might turn up on ebay after a while.

Well I hope so. If it comes down to it i'll just have to track down an owner of them and kill them for their plushies.

Speaking of murder...can I have your friends address?...totally unrelated to my above statement.

Yeah you should kill yourself if you cant buy your overpriced weeaboo dollies or whatever.

tempting

/people taking me seriously.

To be fair, $120 for two of them really isn't that much. I mean, it sounds like a lot...but it's not even two days of work.

I haven't crossed into the realm of weeabooism, really. I just like cute things, and owning things related to games/animes I like. Extra Saber and Caster happen to fit both categories.
I think as long as I stay away from figurines and shit, i'll be safe. Now THOSE things are friggin' expensive.

Saber and Caster are both from Fate/extra

That Saber isn't Arturia, if that's what you're thinkin'.

The figurines are worth the money ಠ-ಠ

I feel for you.
I've been trying to get a nendoroid plush myself

I gave up on getting the Touhou Nendoroid plushies.
They're all really, really expensive even if I do find one...and even then they're also ridiculous to just find.

I almost bought Sakuya but I opted for Dead Master and BRS instead :/

aww you don't like the figurines :c
I love the plushies cuz they're bigger and cuter.. but I like the figurines too. Though I only buy the ones I really want.. but even some of the ones I really want are long sold out and super expensive now ~_~

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
