For lack of a better place to put this, I thought, "why not put it where no one will read it?"
Been playing Katawa Shoujo lately. It's gaining popularity pretty swiftly by the looks of it. Hell I don't see why not, it looks and feels like a professionally drawn and written visual novel. The only thing missing is voice acting, and a person can quickly dismiss that fact.
It's even getting an anime, apparently. Which could be fantastic if it follows Hanako's route. Or be average if it follows...anyone elses.
/isn't biased towards Hanako
Though it was announced april 2010 and hasn't gotten any updates since then. Probably not a good sign.
If you haven't heard of it, but like visual novels, the site is http://katawa-shoujo.com/ and the VN itself is free. Which I actually find to be a downside now. I'd love to pay for it and get a nice case and disk for my collection.
