Just beat MGS2 *spoilers*

So I beat MGS2.

Wow. I enjoyed it even more than the first one.

Currently, MGS2 > MGS

Unlike what some said, I actually liked Raiden as a character. He wasn't anywhere near as whiny as I've heard.

And actually I loved the storyline. It did bring a large *wtf* moment near the end where they start revealing that the Colonel and Rose you were speaking to were an AI and the whole Patriots thing. In the end, it did sum up quite nicely in the end.

Well now I got to buy MGS: Snake Eater 3D (and the CPP). Judging from all the praise, it should be even more amazing than this. I got my expectations set up high.

MGS was my favorite PSX game.
MGS2 was my favorite PS2 game...
...until MGS3 came out. I absolutely LOVED IT.

But beware! MGS3 can be a bit disappointing at first with all the jungle part. But once you get past that, it becomes totally awesome and exciting.

I remember when I first bought the game, I played it for a little while, found it too hard and didn't like the jungle part, so I put it away for a few months. A few months later, I resumed the game and got past the jungle part and WOW. I can't wait to play the game again, I've bought MGS HD Collection on the 360, should be getting it in the next few weeks.

Really should play this, at least before I get MGS3 on the 3DS. Loved MSG1 on the PSX, but never had a PS2.

MGS2 is a great game, but I didn't like the fact that it was in "parts" and you'd play different segments. MGS3's story was consecutitive throughout the whole game and your understanding to "survive in the jungle" probably made it one of the ultimate games in the history of video games. MGS3 is probably my favorite despite all the games having a lasting appeal.
