Tonight i had an amazing reawakening as well as a new stab of despair.
Reawakening: i got to see the chick ive had a crush on since last summer and havent seen since then...
The other part...the despair.
Checking Facebook at this ridiculous hour when i know i have to be up early to help with trev's party tomorrow is just asking for trouble. I ended up browsing through a friend's photos as the song "Images" was selected in my itunes.
I had to stop both the song and the browsing of pictures or i might have had some sort of fit. The two were just to perfect together. I cant imagine my past without her and I wish there was so much more i would have done. We never got our timing right. I was always chasing girls that were out of my league, and she was tied up with other guys. If i could go back...

Anyways i closed by browser and stared at my background, trying to make sense of what just happened and forget it at the same time. My background it a picture of Exia from Gundam 00 in space. I, for that moment, wondered what it would be like to be a symbol and not a face to the world. What if people saw me as a being of hope and not another broken human?
Living in space, an unknown face, living behind a mask with no human contact (well in Setsuna's case, limited contact). Dealing with world problems and something to make a difference and not petty "i wish i could go back to the past" desired.
At least then I would have real drive in my life.
