I got an iPhone 3G

Hello! Welcome to a non-shitpost blog! *insert celebratory music here*. Anyways, I was at a flee market with my dad looking for some old electronic stuff. We came across this both with a lot of cool stuff. I looked a clear container holding some old phones and mp3 players. That's when I saw the iPhone 3G. I picked it up to look at it. It actually feels nice to hold. We bought it for $30, and the seller also gave us a free charger. The charger is actually in really good condition. So I plugged it in to a portable power bank and powered it on. It worked! So, looking through it its running iOS 6.1.6 and had an Apple ID still on it. It was on an old AOL email. After searching around some more, I didn't find anything to interestsing, so I did a factory reset on it. Unfortunately, I forgot they need a sim card to be activated, so I now need to jailbreak it to activate it. Oh well, I was already planning to jailbreak it.

Anyways random blog over.

I got an old ipod 4g to jailbreak and i Have had fun with it. Though get ready to setup a windows xp virtual machine to install Itunes 9.5 or something and then download the jailbreak tool from here http://p0sixspwn.co/ The reason you will need a vm is because itunes 9.5 does not work on windows 10 and 8. And you need itunes or else the jailbreak will fail.
I don't recommend redsn0w i had lots of problems with it.

actually useful jimmyj,OUT

@bennyman123abc TBH, I can also say that the thing that is good about Apple products is the build quality (and by build quality I don't mean sturdiness, but feeling to the touch, visual aspect, and general design to make it comfortable to use).
Well, also macOS, I kind of like that OS. I would love Windows to behave a little more like it, i.e. to have a Windows that works like Unix, loads fast and doesn't get slow for reasons, but still is able to play any game you throw at it.

if you plan on using it as a phone like i did, downgrade the baseband and install ultrasn0w

The one I went to is called the "flee market"

I don't know why or what we're running from, but oh well
