i give up with 3DS battery

hey guys remember the battery i bought last week?
hehe guess what?
THE FUCKING BATTERY IS BAD
i did the charge thing, put it on charge for 12 or 20 hours (i chose 20 hours)
and well with the days the battery is dying more and more faster and the charge time is more and more faster too, it's charging in less than 1 hour and the battery dies in less than 1 hour, even if i let more time on charge it still dies fast, the ONLY FUCKING BATTERY I COULD FIND AFTER ONE MONTH SEARCHING THE FUCKING BATTERY IS BAD HAHAHA it's so good get third-party things but well since nintendo don't give support for OLD 3DS anymore... WELL THEY DON'T EVEN WORK HERE SO DON'T MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE
good..
JUST GOOD
now my 3DS isn't portable anymore, i can't play with this shit where i want, now i will need to stay in the same place using it on charger ¬¬
oh well fuck this shit i hate you nintendo :^)

There should be a few different 3rd party batteries for 3ds that might work well. Unless that is something you don't want to do? They might sell official o3ds batteries somewhere too

i literally CAN'T find any battery here this is not USA my friend this is brazil, good luck trying to find something like that here

Oh i see, i didn't know you were from Brazil. I guess a solution could be find a generic lithium ion battery with the correct voltage (most are 3.7v i believe) with about the same mAh as your 3ds and wire it up to your 3ds. I'm not sure what is available in Brazil, but I would tend to believe you might be able to find a generic one that fits the requirements

That sucks :/ I'd say try to find a simple lithium ion battery thats about 1750 mAh on some Brazilian sites, and don't search "3ds" with it. Any generic lithium ion battery should be able to work if, if it can fit in the 3ds. All you'd have to do is solder it to the battery pins of the 3ds.

i already found a 3.7v one, thats what i bought and its bad but man i really don't want to solder anything i don't have experience with that and i don't want to risk my 3DS, consoles here are really expensive and i don't want to mess up with my 3DS, i took a long time saving money (from my job) to have money enough to buy it USED
i can't modfy it physically and mess up with it

You might be able to touch a wire to the pin and use hot glue to keep it there, and glue the other end of the wire to the correct pin of the battery, but idk how effective it would keep it there compared to solder. A soldering job like this is a more easier one, and your 3ds should be fine if you only solder to the battery pin. It'd be a good beginner soldering project too, but if its too uncomfortable for you that's understandable. As for the battery you bought, did it say how much mAh it is? The capacity for a normal old 3ds should be 1750 mAh if i'm correct. It doesn't sound like its the right capacity battery. It could also just be a broken battery, you should try returning it if you can.

use a cellphone battery it should work just make sure it fits and make sure the battery is good

Like I said, I have something that will work for you. It is a battery booster pack that provides several hours of game play. It is rechargeable and all. It may make the 3ds seem a bit bulky though. It would also not allow the use of the charging cradle anymore. But like I said before, I would be willing to send it to you for free. I have no use for it. I have two of them, one of them used by me, and a brand new one. I experienced the same problem as you, with battery life. I highly recommend it, and I am prepared to send it to you if you'd like. It works, trust me. :yay:

@JFlare Oooh, I know which one you're talking about! The extra bulk is actually quite nice. Makes the 3DS fit better in your hands.
@BlueFox gui Consider this ^

don't have game stop here, consoles are expensive and i don't have money

HaloEliteLegend
well yeah i could consider this, but i need to see first, i can find those things to buy but i really wanted to have a good battery and not a big TUMOR on my 3DS xD
