These last few weeks have been a bit of a disappointment. First off i didnt get the RA job. One of the current ones decided to stay. That severely hurt my chances. Second off it was me and another candidate. He is a horizon scholar, meaning he goes here for basically free cause hes from mexico. Actually that means i pay for his tuition. Great. Here i am a white male trying to get a job and support myself a little cause im paying 30 grand to go here a year. So if i can get the RA job i get some free room and a paycheck. But of course they give it to the "diverse" kid. Fine. WTF ever.
Next i try to design a T shirt. (i posted it in my last blog.) I was able to drop jaws when it was presented. They said it was the most professional. But some freakin moron douche bag almost immidialtly shot it down because they were going to be playing volley ball outside and the shirts were black and would be 100% cotton = they would be too hot. Fuck. So i didnt even have time to say i would do a revison and they moved on to the next one which was half as good and printed that one.
April fools rolls around. I figure i can make everyone else miserable for just one day. I made a simple image with my face and the words "its April fools day, No facebook; Go outside" to the music of Benny Hill. My plan was to have Tech services redirect Facebook to a page with my movie on it. All went well except At&t decided to play a trick on us and not give us internet for the day. cool.
So here i am almost entirely alone here at college cause i didnt wanna go home for the weekend. I was working on taking my DSl apart for a case mod. Long story short i tore the ribbon that attaches the top screen to the motherboard. Sigh.
Im pretty down right now. no one to talk to and i dont have any ambiton to do any of the homework i have cause I CANT DO ANYTHING EFFIN RIGHT.
