Graduation
I just took the stage and was conferred my Associates Degree in Applied Science with emphasis on Electronic Technology which is a relief since, I had a terrible experience with College Algebra, having to take it over 3 times since I had no higher math in High School, although I did graduate on time. I also transferred some credits from a previous university since I took some classes there while I was in Trade School for my Bachelor's Degree which means I only have a year + an experience activity until I get my Bachelor's. I had cake, BBQ, and some Mongolian BBQ afterward, which was very good with a ton of cash in my graduation cards.
Summer Gaming
I'll be busy on my DS and PS3 this Summer, however my Wii has been gathering dust since last year and with Final Fantasy IV: The After Years being released I expect some gameplay on the Wii. Since I have 700 bucks more in graduation money, I want the following games which are coming out in the summer:
Black Sigil
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor
Trinity Universe
Love Plus
Cross Edge
Final Fantasy IV: The After Years
Dragon Quest Dsiware
Experience Activity
My school requires me to complete one Experience Activity that would teach life skills or explore another culture intellectually. These are the choices:
Leadership
Study Abroad
Community Service
Scholarly Activity (Basically Art)
Leadership cannot be done by me because you must have a 3.5 GPA and recommendation by two references in the community which I have neither, and I have a 3.2 GPA. I don't like their community service programs since they phased out all projects in the US completely and replaced them with projects in very dangerous Central and South American countries. I really wanted to help out in New Orleans too.
Should I choose the following: Study Abroad or Scholarly Activity
If you recommend Study Abroad here are the choice countries:
Thailand
Taiwan
China
Japan
France
Italy
If you have any other recommendations please post them.
Overall, my life has been good, and despite the reoccurring math trouble, everything turned out better than expected.
