Going back to school

I dropped out my first year of college due to work related issues. It was either work or school so I had to choose work since I was on my own. I finally qualify for FAFSA this year, so it will help me get back on track. I applied to a community college to ease me back into the student lifestyle, without pressuring me too much. I'm required to take the COMPASS test for placement. It's basically a mini version of the ACT that you take at the school you're applying to. I already took the SAT and got an 1133 on my first try, but it won't be accepted since it was so long ago (6 years).

I went over the sample test and surprisingly I remember most of the math problems. The only thing that may give me problems is trig/geo. Specifically problems involving simplifying trig equations. Can anyone recommend a good study guide or refreshers course on things I may need to remember? I took AP Calculus and passed the AP test giving me 8 credits already so it sucks that I have to go through this. I need to remember this stuff eventually, so why not make it now.

I am not all that familiar with US education (which could pose a problem as I am not sure what levels you need to be at) but if you want trig I liked:

And then I got a couple of books with Wiley Math Refresher for Scientists and Engineers 3rd edition being the better of the ones I tried (I like the applied/engineering/science/electronics ones over "pure" maths. Alas we are back in university grade books territory for those and the associated price tag.

Thanks again Fast, that link is perfect! I'm probably going to take the test ASAP, so I better study up. Hopefully, if my brain still works like it used to, it will all flood back to me like it was just yesterday.

I never understood why they are so expensive, especially considering most of them (4 out of the 5 I have bought for my CE course) come in cheap shitty bindings. I wouldn't mind if they were proper hardbound books that feel like they would last...
