Feeling empty

I've been feeling really empty lately. I don't seem to care about anything anymore. I barely passed because I neglected my grades, I don't feel like talking to people, I don't seem to care about my father's drinking problem, I just want to lay in bed all day, don't feel like playing many video games, my crush on someone died out completely, the list goes on. Worst thing is, one of the few things I feel is pain. I've been cutting recently, as it makes me feel something. Not very deep, but still bad. I'm completely stuck, any attemp at doing anything ends up with me giving up.

Sorry if this seems like an "edgy teen post" from someone who is "just looking for attention"

Don't cut. I used to do that, but it's going to stay there for a long time. I'd consider therapy, as I've started going to it and it's helping. Exercise is also a plus, the new Pokemon GO app can help you get motivated to be active.
 
Therapy won't work.
Soul pinchers just want to mold you to be a perfect example of society.

I know exactly what you're going through.
In me case, what worked is not giving a flying a fuck and just be happy with the things you have.
Change yourself, get new shirts, new haircut, dye it if you'd want.
Usually a drastic change to yourself helps a lot.

Try and have some fun okay? Find someone to play with, invigorate some ideas into your feelings of passion to do something worthy of your time. Oh and STOP CUTTING YOURSELF! Seriously i dunno why people do that but there is a thing called permenant damage to the body that may not be good in the future. Even if the person is masochistic it just don't make sense. But again, your body and life.

Find some motivation to do something, your not a soulless being with no attention to detail. There plenty of things to do or get involved with, one of those things got to motivate you to be positive. :)

Ever heard of "Hurts so good"? yeah. I've tried staying away from cutting myself for a while (6 months now). you don't have to do anything else to "stay away from it", but please try to do whatever you can to avoid it. You can pm me if you want to talk, if you find me trustful enough.
 
I felt something like this before and I will repeat what that someone already said, find some motivation, like practice some sport, try to find what you like to do , hobbies, and enjoy your life, there's so many thing to do in life that I think we need more hours a day to enjoy it, too many things but no time.

If you get attention in good things and be positive even in bad situation, it will help a lot to you change yourself and stop acting like this (cutting yourself) or think in bad things

anyway cutting is seriously dumb go outside dude, make some friends stop destroying your own body
do some stuff that makes you feel happy even if just for a bit (that doesn't harm your body in any way)
and for god's sake try sleeping a bit more, most of these thoughts are fueled by sleep-deprivation

Also, talking to other people is not really an option for reasons I'd rather not say.
 
You could listen to up-beat music. You could make a friend here on the Temp. You could take a new hobby. You could do a lot of things! I honestly wouldn't recommend a new hobby though, as it could get difficult and you just wouldn't enjoy doing it. I personally like the song Singing in the Rain by Simple Plan because it's a really happy song. You could search the internet for Dank Memes. I'm serious about that, you could find some funny ones sometimes that really make you laugh. Pokemon Go memes are great. If you want a friend, you could always talk with me sometime! I'll talk to anybody! If you ever want to, go ahead and shoot me a PM.
 
I was like this on my last two year on high school and not totally recovered yet but well
TRy to make friends and get along , even if is to lose to them on smahs bros (yey xD), make yourself out home and makefriend that is nice to get along... this is not easy on this stage, I know, it's taking long but well is something! xD don't give up.. sometime I still feel like that, that I can't advance in any of my project and stuff...
And don't hurt yourself
(I was never the kind that cut .. maybe because I don't like to see lood :V I was the kind that punch stuff ... I broke some important things OTL )
If have something you want to talk in private just call me ówo but don't let this consume you!
