Douchey brother-in-law

First of all, my wife, son and I are living at her Mom's house for the summer (till the end of October) because she was able to find work in this area, and none where we normally live. So my brother-in-law came over the other day, so he could use their computer to install i-tunes and set up his new iphone because his computer is too full of viruses and shit it can't even get on the internet. He, my son and I are in the living room, we're watching Spongebob Squarepants, one of my sons favorite shows, and he's playing on his phone, when I smell the distinct odor of a dirty diaper. So I take my son to the next room to change his diaper, and when I come back, I find my BIL has stolen the remotes, and is now watching Dude Where's My Car. I said, dude, this movie is not appropriate for an 18 month old, and he was watching Spongebob. He says, too bad, you guys left the room, go watch TV downstairs. Well shiiiit, the downstairs isn't baby-proofed, and we were watching TV here first, dipshit. You go downstairs, or play on your iphone. (I didn't actually say that last bit, but I was thinking it really hard.) So I can't really complain to his mom, because he's her special little angel., and I usually come out with the shit end of the stick when we have conflict.

What kind of asshole steals the remote from a little kid, then puts on a show that isn't appropriate?

That was a mistake, I meant till the end of September. It actually isn't too bad, my son gets to spend lots of time with his grandma, which he doesn't normally because we live so far away.

It's called a rhetorical question... I know what kind of asshole would do it. This blog is just a way for me to vent.

You should add a [rhetorical] tag to your question.

Sorry for your pain.

I guess your brother-in-law is over twenty? Why does he live with his mom still?

I think he's 19 or 20. He doesn't live here, read the part where I explain why he came to visit for a couple days in my first post.

Get even, you both are adults. I won't allow it and kick his ass. 1) My son is watching cartoons. 2) I was here first and you got some nerve stealing that remote! 3) You is going to have your freedom back soon enough.

Really if he does that again in front of your child, teach him a lesson!

No one should disturb a baby watching Spongebob. When I was a baby, I was usually a nice baby, unless my cousin walks over and changes the TV to something like disney channel, then I would get pissed off and cause an adorable but annoying baby tantrum. What a piece of S*** he is.

lol the quotes...

So you couldn't change the diapers in the same room? Well I'd say best to confront your BIL alone and not infront of infants. Your the rolemodel in their lives.

Or smother his face with the fully loaded diaper to vent your anger.

That's.......not a bad idea, actually xD

This guy is just a flat out jerk. Go make sure your son is safe ie with a caring adult and then go grab your BIL and kick his @$$. You are only there another few days so you can deal with the Mom for that long for sure.

He's gone now, so i'm not as raging, it will be a while before I have to see him again.
