Finished Portal 2!

I've just finished the single player mode of portal 2 in 6.7 hours, which is totally unlike me as i usually take my time observing things (which i still did). The plot and storyline are amazing so many twists you don't know what is going to happen. Wheatley is so funny and yet... OK i'm not going to give anything away.
Intense ending, though slightly too easy (especially after mastering the rest of the game) and the chambers at the end should have been a lot harder. Though I do admit, some were really though and yet when I realized what to do it was so obvious.

I've a few doubts about it though:
>The end song was not as good as 'Still Alive' though they defiantly rounded the story off nicely and didn't leave anything out.
>I'm sure in one trailer I saw there was a stage where you had to use the wind from a pipe to pull down a wall (can anyone find it?) but I defiantly don't remember doing that in the game... maybe it was in the co-op campaign.
>Could still have been longer, though maybe this was because I was playing it most of the day...

Anyway, now I've just got to wait until my friend logs on to steam in a few days so I can play co-op. (Which Valve are still trying to make money on by offering hats etc. to equip on your robot). Anyone know which robot I should be blue or orange, I imagine they have very balance gameplay.

Pics that I took: (not spoilers)

Yh i usually don't buy games on release but I saw how big this was going to be and it came with a free copy of the first one (which i hadn't played).

In the trailer where the wall gets pulled off by the wind pipe, it doesn't matter anyway as two seconds after the wall is pulled off and the player walks up to it it is covered by panels. I believe it was just put in the trailer to show off.

...Just a friendly warning. :tpi:
Yh i deliberately tried not to include spoilers

I believe P-Body and Atlas are the same, gameplay wise.

I'm GLaD(c wat i did thar) you enjoyed the game. I'll have to wait until I get a better PC/a current gen console (thing I don't want to do) to play it.

I've put a few pictures in the main post for you to see, no real spoilers. Shall I post the main menu after completing the game for those who want to see it? (i'll use spoilers)
soz you'll have to wait till tomorrow as i've gtg now.

That ending.
Was amazing.
Also, as a tip, the one who invites the other to play Co-op gets to be Atlus (the blue one)
They handle the same though.
Hit me up on Steam if you wanna co-op buddy, though I kinda wanna beat it with my friend first.

Only managed to start playing it last night @7:00PM (until 10:00pm when I had to finish it to get ready for work next morning) - since OP did it in ~7hours - I guess I may be about (just under) halfway through. I'm only up to the '4th blue bouncy room'...

Must admit - for a follow up, although it's still the same old puzzle solving - those extra blocks etc do make a nice addition.

As OP has said - been struggling with a few of the puzzles, but once figured out seemed so easy (just hope later levels don't rely on precise shooting of portals while jumping through other portals - I get disoriented quite easily)

As for storyline - yes I admit, for a follow-up it got a great storyline... although (not paying too much attention to what been said) there are a few questions that have popped up which I wonder about, & are they 'answered' at any time - or does the game end with those unanswered.... (Portal 3 ??)
(Can't post them here - that'll be too much of a spoiler IMHO)

Still nice follow-up - just wish Valve will hurry up & bring out HL2:Ep3
EDIT: Dam - just looked @ the 'Achievements' list - I really need to play Co-op to get some more:cry:

That's one of the things i love about this game, there was little having to quickly change camera angle mid-air, aim, shoot a portal and then land in the other one all in 2 seconds. There are a few but not as bad as that massive room in Portal 1. I found in the first that took away from the puzzleness of it.

No there's nothing I can remember that was mentioned but left unanswered. But if i were you i'd listen to as much talking as possible, not only can it be extremely funny (especially Wheatley) but there's a lot of story info as well. Though I found I had to turn subtitles on when C.J. (CEO of Aperture Science) was talking cause some of the sound effects were quite noisy.
I'm stuck on which was my fav level... I enjoyed the one underground in old aperture science labs (chapter six - the fall i think?) where you:
Have to use propulsion gel in combination with repulsion gel to fly to different parts of the level and collect cubes etc.

OK about to post a massive spoiler, the main menu after completing the game as i can't find it anywhere else on the web...

What's your Steam username? I would like to add you..
Yesterday midnight in my time zone, my friends were playing Portal 2. /creys

I'll give you it but I want to play co-op with my irl friend first if that's alright. It's the same as my username. Hang on no, it's Wizzerzak (i dropped a z to become untraceable on google).

Another thing i've found with the game is you can't load straight to a certain chapter like the first game, which is annoying as i deleted every save apart from the one at the end.

I wondered why you did that.

You know eventually you can just find this one anyway?

hopefully it'll disappear off of google after a month or so, even if i completely changed my name it would still link from my old name in the search results for 'Wizzerzak'.
