About a girl... 2 !!!!

so if you read my earlier blog post here --> http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=240387 then you will know that i really fancy this girl :yay: well i started to talk to her more on facebook and msn and gave her my number and in turn got hers. iv had my new contract phone for 5 days now and have already text her 400 times (as you do) :3 i really like her and so this morning i grabbed what little i have left of my balls and asked her out for some tea (insert british joke here)....... she said YES!! so im seeing her on tuesday and were going for some tea or coffee the only thing that worries my is, things to talk about i mean i already know a lot about her so it would be hard to come up with a conversation and i dont want to make things awkward :| ideas ??

I read both threads, and I really got to say, great job!

Consider how much you know about her (where she's from, siblings, etc.)
Aim on a common interest to talk about. It's the easiest.
Try and make her smile or laugh... It'll make you and her feel good.
*Too tired to add anything else*
If you need quick answers, I'd find a bigger forum with a Relationship thread, and try and ask there, where responses are quicker. It shouldn't be hard to find something on perhaps NeoGaf, or even something like UG (Ultimate-Guitar.com), or even 4chan (if you can wade through the trolls).

ACEDIT: Hahahahahaha! I just realized this was your 700th post, vergilite. Congratulations on that, too! :rofl2:

Pic of girl please! lol j/k but yeah. Just talk about similar interest! That's it, or you can do some funny stuff to make her laugh, but not stupid stuff. Unless you know it'll make her laugh.

When you go with her, things usually present themselves as discussion topics. Do some impromptu stuff. Find a common topic, or find something she likes. Be sure to get a lot of detail, as you'll need that later. Try to put important things such as birthdays, official date anniversaries, and perhaps stuff she likes into a calender or notepad. Do this all in your phone or something so it looks inconspicuous. Because we all know how much of a pain it is to remember dates. >.>

Best thing is to make the girl laugh. :)

And I HATE when a guy is on his phone when I'm talking to him. So, none of that. ;P

Well, that may be true. Though a phone looks a bit less creepy than a physical note pad or something. I guess you can remember the dates long enough to put them down after. >.>
She is right, making a girl laugh is the best way to a healthy relationship.

Hey, don't knock it till you try it.

Talk about your mother, your video game collection, or when you first hit puberty.

In all seriousness, ask about stuff at her school, pets she might have... I don't know, it seems you've asked about much of that already. I'd tell you what I talked about on my date but I went to a movie with her so it was hush hush.

Compliment her shoes or cloths, but don't overdo it.

Edit:

I've asked advice on Game forums before and asked out the girl and went out with her, although, the advice didn't contribute to me doing it much.

SOOO!!!! i thought i would update you guyz on my date :) so we were meant to be going for tea at costa buuuuttt the weather was so shit we just stayed in mine instead :yay: we watched some jeremy kyle and just talked then the sky went off because of the shitty weather so i ended up continually asking her questions like whats your favourite colour, worst fear and stuff and she asked me the same :3 it was good getting to know her better but i was SO! nervous that i cant remember much about what we were talking about :P she stayed for about 6 hours before walking home in the rain :( it was a bit awkward at the end because i had nothing to talk about (i mean i know everything there is to know about this girl) so we hugged and she left i mean i offered to pay for a taxi but because of the weather the taxi took the piss and so she decided to walk :|

oh and yeah, suck my bad grammer b*tchs!

HINT: Next time she's walking home in the rain, walk with her. Serves little logical purpose, I admit, but for some reason sharing stuff like that tends to build a bond of some kind. Try it. Yeah, you'll get soaked, but one must make sacrifices for the cause of love.

Stayed for 6 hours though, that's not a bad result. Try to think of something for you to do next time, that way you minimise the risk of awkward lack of conversation topics. Best thing to do? Something neither of you have ever done before. Share a new experience together.

Also, to further minimise the risk of the conversation well drying up, make sure to spend sufficient time AWAY from your chosen loved one. Otherwise you can't talk about what happened to you because the answer will always be 'I know, I was stood next to you' which kinda kills the mood. Break up your daily routine with something crazy so you have something to talk about.
Sounds like it was good. :)

Feel bad she had to walk in the rain, though. D:
I KNOW RIGHT!! but i had to say if you dont let me pay for a taxi then i will through my money in the bin :P, then her mum couldn't pick her up because there was flooding all over and she couldnt get there so her mum rang her and said it would be faster walking so i gave her an umbrella :yay:

yeah but i think because we would have had nothing to talk about it would have just been an awkward walk home  i really need to pick up my game il find a movie to watch next time :creep: shes going on holiday soon for a while so i wont be able to talk to her :(

Awww damn rain D: They always ruin dates, I hate it. My girlfriend and I always check the weather before we go anywhere. :teach: Well now that you know this girl, next time focus mainly on her interests and those that you two have in common. Always try your best to make her laugh, humor is key. When she starts asking you about your interests (if not already or asking you to elaborate on those she already knows), you know you've done something right. You'll feel the spark when it happens. Also try sharing funny experiences like family vacations or something. Another idea is take her to an active place where there are a bunch of things going on at which you can potentially crack a joke or two. ;)

You got this, though. I'm confident you'll do fine.

EDIT: Movie's a great idea :D btw. My first date was a movie and it went pretty great; still goin out with same girl for about year and half. Treat her to something nice like candy or ice cream.
