Correct me if I am wrong,
but I believe that the Katakana names are in Katakana because they are
not "Japanese" names. アリス = Alice and I'm not sure what ハチ turns into, but they are
not "Japanese" names like なな and るね.

I wouldn't really complain because no tapping should be occuring. You're paying the girl for...well, 'cute' services, not hot steamy sex. And if it's that much of a problem, half of the time, especially if you're playing vidya with her you won't even be looking her in the face. Unless you're...one of those types who only play videogames with hot women who aren't any good at games to begin with. And the whole point of them being mediocre is the fact that they're supposed to be "average" girls, not Japanese supermodels. If they put up a front like that, it would greatly take away from the "realism" the service is offering the customer. You're paying for the girl's companionship. Not her hotness/vivaciousness in the bed you WON'T be getting in with her.
