i literally have the attention span of a 5-year-old and this assignment is due tomorrow at midnight. D:

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO LIKE.. CONCENTRATE? I've used extensions that block distracting websites, games etc but i just end up zoning out and not even the caffine is helping anymore. :,D i cant get in the zone even tho this course is literally about computers and the internet (something I'm passionate about) so idk why its so hard for me to do.

Taking a walk or getting away from the computer for a moment is a good way to reorient yourself
Yeah i use this technique myself whenever I can't focus I take frequent 5-10 min breaks depending on what I need. I have ADHD so I find this trick helpful but your mileage may vary. The key is balancing the breaks with being productive though. Its easy to slip into the trap of taking longer and longer breaks so be careful. Set a timer if need be.

What kind of assignment? If it's something that doesn't take much time it shouldn't cause anxiety thus can't worsen your ADHD, i would try the 20min Pomodoro method of studying with 10~even 20min break afterwards, and repeat as you see fit. But clear your head first as others have suggested, and since you mentioned that this is something you should enjoy, try to organize (make an outline) on what needs to be done so it'll clear things out thus it can help you focus more. Good luck!

thank you! yeah I've gotta make a powerpoint and a 2 page long concept proposal so its quite lengthy, thanks to all ur advice i think ill be able to get it done before the deadline now tho (yesterday i kinda overdid it with the caffeine before i posted this and got almost nothing done but now I'm at collage i should be able to do this! :D)
