This December I'll be able to see my grandparents after 20 months. Yay! But there's a problem. You see, I have longer hair now (a little ponytail). My grandparents believe men should never have longer hair. I've been out with them and seen them point and whisper (more like speak loudly) about people with longer hair* and how it's "bad". They feel that it is disgusting. And now I have shoulder length hair. I can't wait until they see it. And then they'll whisper behind my back about how it's so ugly or whatever. And look at me funny. And be annoying. I don't want them to see my hair. But, it's my choice to have it the way it is, and they can deal with it. But also I don't want them to be upset. sigh
Also I'll be going into an area where there are a lot of COVID cases and no masks and... crazy republicans with guns and big banners on their lawns saying how trump is god.
(it's a rural area in america, what did you expect?) Wish me luck.
