It's mostly just for the cartridge to sit flush in a GBA. And testing the L and R buttons together brings up the emulator options. If it didn't, then you'd know there was an issue with the buttons.

Btw where did you order your stickers? Also are there any secret features on this test cart...? Hidden menu or anything like that?
