I'm going to be a father... :-)

So...no long winding post this time. Just this message: my girlfriend's pregnant with our first child. She is due in January next year. (EDIT: her gender is no longer a secret at this point)

Can't really add much aside from "I'll probably be a lot less on the forums after that". I'm sure y'all understand. :)

And don't kid yourself, you will be spending more time on the forum than ever, what with not having time to do anything else between the feedings and the sleepings and the changings and the walkings, you won't have time to do anything that can't be done in 2-minute increments on your phone so it's either the Temp or Facebook. Choose wisely. :P

Just celebrated my sons first birthday last week, its alot of work and tiredness but ultimately its worth it.

Just don't expect much gaming time anymore, my gaming time has dropped to nearly zero, just too tired now a days, I'm sure I'll get back into it when he's abit older and can join in

@Veho and @yusuo: so...more game on forums talking about games and less about actual gaming? Hmm...sounds a bit like when we got a puppy dog. Only of a magnitude worse, and taking longer, then. It's about what I estimated. ;)
(my brother has two children. I'm prepared for that "I just want them to be old enough to be self-sufficient" kind of look :P ).

Congrats :) and as always, i can give you 1 good advice :P
- Be there for your girlfriend/wife and kid, no matter what, from now on real family life is more important then anything else, Responsbility, Duty, love and respect for life is your main goal from now on to give the best to your son/daughter you can!!!

1 thing i know, you always will wonder/regret some things you will do for your family life, but that's life ;)

Congratulations. It will be stressful sometimes, especially in the beginning, but will be totally worth it.

Congrats! Recently having my second (he's two and a half months, going strong) let me tell you. It's one heck of a ride.

@Djoen: I've always treated my girlfriend with responsibility and respect, and extended that when our puppy dog got here. So it's not really new behavior to me...but I'm sure it'll be a few extra levels worth of challenge to it. B-)
(also: is there a non-dark side to parenthood, then? :P )

@leon315 : I'm 38. My girlfriend just turned 29.

    @Xdqwerty there is health behaviour you can add to your character, then to use a health bar is lil more complicated, google n watch a few tutorial video on it, be too hard to explain here.
