I made Twitch Affiliate!

Well the main news is in the title. When I had some free time in May (these days it feels like a rarity) I got the chance to do a week of streams and I qualified for the Affiliate program. Email never came though, at least not until three days ago (after a couple of support tickets), so now I'm all set up.

Now I just need to think of what emotes to put in...

Streams can be somewhat sporadic at the moment, but I'll try to fit some in when I get the time. I've been playing a fresh Breath of the Wild run (only four parts as of writing; they'll be highlighted to keep them online) and I've been streaming Tetris 99 too, which I'm continuing to get better at.

Fill the sides before the middle, unless you have a plan.

Pretty much: "S", "l/L", and "Z"-shapes to the sides; "Square" in the middle and "T" and "4-bar" for touch-ups.
That's pretty much the strategy on a simplified scale.

Good on you if you have a strategy working.

Yeah, I'm still working on my stacking strategies, but I often work at the sides so there's still space to spawn in the middle, sometimes I stack everywhere and leave a one cell well for dropping I blocks and making T-spins. As always, success is variable. The trick is building flat whenever possible.

Building flat has advantages, but sometimes, to get that Tetris-Tetris-triple-triple combo boost score, you need to section parts off and have a swap-strategy; also good for sending garbage lines quickly, unless your opponent has fewer than 13 lines.

Don't know if you've tried the PS1 Tetris Plus, but that has some fun modes that help on quick building strategies.
