I can't guarentee a coherent response, but you're welcome to ask questions.

Seriel, why do you change avatar so much?
Because I can never decide on one single image that represents me, I'm always either going "nah this one isnt so good after all" or stumbling across a different one.
Lately I've also been making my avatars on different accounts be different to keep things spicy.

Serious question:

A while back, back when the OS Wars on GBAtemp were pretty big, I remember you saying how Arch was a bad distro, having moved on to Gentoo. Fast-forward about a month or so, I could've sworn you were saying Gentoo was bad as well, though I'm not sure if it's just my memory failing me on that.

What was the reasoning for your thoughts on these distros back then? Are they the same now? And what distro do you use these days, if you're still using Linux at all?

LOL that's a nice anecdote, I don't remember that one.
I can assume in that period of time was when I was experimenting with different Linux distros to try and find which was "the best". Each one I found ended up being kinda better than the last so my opinion fluctuated quite a lot.
Lately I've slowed down on that, I think every distro (And OS) has its pros and cons, and each can be used fine in some situations and loathed in others.
Ever since getting my SSD and RAM upgrade a month or so ago though, Windows is actually really smooth to use and I have no real to use anything else; especially since WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux) has now matured to the point where i can actively use it for Linux-specific things. So I now run Windows 10 as a daily driver with ArchLinux installed into WSL for "everything else" (even works with gui apps if you want it to)

So essentially I just run Windows now because I have no reason not to, it runs perfectly fine on this hardware without slowing down; one of the main reasons I ran linux was because Windows used way too much RAM.
If you want to run Linux for literally any reason though, that's fair enough. And if you want to run Windows too then cool! Just don't shove your opinions down other peoples throats like its the bible and all is well.
