I love my brother

So I have SXOS running on my switch, and before I ever booted it up, I made sure the OFW was in Airplane mode, so I wouldn't get banned. Well, it just so happened that my little brother took my switch, still in SXOS, and went online and played fortnite. So i wake the next morning to a banned switch, which doesn't bother me too much, as it seems to only be from online gaming. Downloading and eshop still work. I specifically told him that if he wanted 2 play online to get me and i could reboot it into normal OS with no logs (CTCer mod for hekate has a "clear logs" boot option), so that I wouldn't get banned. Oh well.

Weird. I have played hours online of legit games on hekate and I have nerver gotten a ban. Looks like sx os sucks at not being detected by Nintendo. Kinda makes me not want to get sx os.

Same, I've had zero problems. I haven't pirated anything offline or online though, no interest.

Something doesn't sound right here. I don't think anybody else has reported being banned while playing a legit game, even while running SX OS.

I agree. People played pirate games online on SX before the game cert was banned but didnt get their account banned since they could still play legit games online on OFW, while in this case he played a legit game on SX and got an account ban short after?

  1. You put Switch in SX OS Mode
  2. You went online to play fortnite with SX OS
  3. You got banned only in Fortnite
  4. You can still access e-shop etc.
You really sure that you are banned? What error Code occured?
Did you played other games wit SX OS? What games? How long?

2334- something. Ill check again when brother gets home with it, and the only game i was playing on SXOS was doom, in airplane mode

I still got the Brother fax machine. I agree that laser is the way to go. Better quality and savings.
