DDLC IS GREAT!

Recently, a friend of mine showed me a game called Doki Doki Literature Club...

Yup

That is all I have to say

Other than the fact that...

At first, I thought it was only on Mac and Windows... so I emailed one of the devs about it being on Linux. They responded saying that the Windows pack has a Linux executable in it!! YES!!! I CAN FINALLY PLAY DOKI DOKI!!!!

Well, at least you know what kind of game it is... On the outside. Once you REALLY get into it, that's where things get exciting.

The way the game is executed is awesome. I really like the captivating way the story unfolds. I'm trying my best not to spoil :(

LOL, I was going to play it, but long story short... I downloaded the windows pack and tried to copy the files to my USB (formatted to ext4) and it didn't work because Windows doesn't support ext4. I have to use another USB.

@sks316 I haven't played it (I kind of want to because it was made by Dan Salvato) but why does the game folder need to be opened? I'm kind of curious....

The game folder needs to be open because, at some points of the game, you need to alter the files... and delete some characters.

You got on the train a bit late...
(I have it installed but I still have yet to begin playing it, much like Persona 5 on my PS4)

Well, it's pretty much the exact same as what MrMcTiller said above. It's also because...
the game creates and deletes files inside the folder at different points in the game, and it really helps to better the impact of the game.
