I'm sorry to hear that, Quantum; I imagine that must be very upsetting and stressful. I hope you get things sorted soon, and only wish there was something we could do. :(

When all else fails, apply at Walmart. But be warned... if you take a part-time position, it's a bitch to get a fill-time position. I know because I've done it. Took me 3 and a half years of fighting, bitching, and changing my job position three times!!! But that aside, apply for a full-time position and they'll usually get to you in a month or less. Usually cashiering is the highest in demand, with a 28 hour work week minimum.

You will be fine! Do everything as you'd have a job, we all have been there, if anything, look for job-loss insurance, and keep active.

Are you still also having troubles with your living situation?

I ask mainly as I recall from an earlier thread when someone suggested going to see some stuff that you said "I have a job".

If you lack both a job and your living situation is temporary that would appear to open up some options.

Guess I gotta double my productivity on the temp in the meantime. This place does help me relax at points so remember that. Sorry to hear that happen.

No job means more time for gbatemp. Seriously though, don't stress too much. Jobs come and go. I know it'd be rough in the meantime so I wish you the best in finding your footing.

    i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

    Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
