god dAMN

Yeah I feel so bad because I lost all my Pokémon saves on my R4 thanks to a fake SD.

My cousin bought a fake Micro SD and then, it selled to me, then, I said "yeah why not?", I cut all my files on the fake SD. It took over 5 hours (wasn't more than 9GB) to copy all to the new fake sd. When I tried it to my R4, got stuck on "Loading" Meh, I just checked on the PC and all was corrupt. So, I lost my Pokémon saves, that was more important than my whole life. But fuck, I feel so bad. My Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Black and White and BW2 got deleted, and all was most completed. shit. got damn.

It was my fault too 'cause I didn't copy and paste. I just cut and paste. There is no backup at all. So, I lost all on my R4.

Rip Pokémon saves ;-;

There was not porn at all, there was just Pokémon ROMs (This includes KOR, SPA, and USA ROMs) Every Pokémon ROM I had it. Even I completed every game. The only thing I cared on my whole life was my Pokémon saves, but yep, I lost it. Thanks dammit fake sd card.

edit; this includes some other games, like sonic rush and other trash.

Ugh. Starting over always sucks. Do something else for awhile then come back to them later.

Naw, the worse thing is I played the games for years. I can't remember when I started the game, and when I finished it. I can't remember the Pokémon I had already caught, and I'm too lazy to start it again the whole game (Not only DPPla, ALL the damn games.)

I think the fake SD card even damaged my R4 because my R4 is stuck now on "Loading", I tried every wood kernel and naw, nothing.

well shit

EDIT; Just did re-format to 32Kilobytes and now works. I'm glad that finally works after hours. but still my saves ;_;

Woah, I JUST did a backup on my R4 SD Card. Sorry man, that's a real loss.

Had the same issue back when I ordered the old R4I Gold from its vanilla Chinese or Hong Kong site years ago.
It came with a SD card of my choosing, but realized every time I inserted into the PC it would nag me to format it. At first I thought the SD card was dying, but it was a fake. Lesson learned if I ever want to buy an SD card it will be from well known sites like Newegg and never buy used ones.

A. No game is more important than your life. You are worth way more than that. B. As long as you haven't written anything to the SD card that you copied the files from, you can use a recovery software (as others have said) to get your saves back. I have had great success with Recuva in the past. Just make sure you install the software to a different location than where your original files were stored, run the software to search for deleted files, and restore what you find.

I'm pretty sure you can't recover data from fake SD cards guys they are meant to be troublesome since the true nature behind them is to remove or corrupt files

still, it's a good rule of thumb to always copy paste rather than cut paste to make sure that if something happens you still have the original

yeah as long as he hasn' since started filling up the old card he should have no problem recovering pretty much all the stuff from the old sd card using a free data recovery tool like recuva

but yeah, damn those fake sd cards, I have had one it 2 slip into my cards before that I have took out of stuff, I try not to use random SD cards u haven't bought myself though usually
