FUUUUUUUCK

(NOTE, this blog entry can be considered a bit offensive)

I am extremely pissed off, mostly due to a mistake I did, and the fact that Windows doesn't provide fucking usable tools. PLZ don't make fun of me

Well, long story short, I deleted my /home partition and all the data included. Now I am running a disk scan to recover my data with GParted...

It all started when my Windows partition broke and I wanted to fix it. So I took the installation media, tried fixing it, but it didn't work. OK, I'll reinstall it. Restarted the installation, to the point of managing partitions. I tried deleting the old Windows partitions, but due to the fact that I couldn't see which partition I selected, and that the tools Microsoft provides are total shit, I accidentally deleted the /home partition. I instantly rebooted when I realised my mistake.
I went to the point where systemd couldn't mount that partition, so I had to manually do stuff. I tried recovering the partition through gparted, failure, so I removed the fstab entries for /home, so now I lost all data on this partition, of which, many of them were very important(ik you don't care).

So, now my only hope is that GParted will be able to recover this partition...

I simply made sure to not touch /home when I do shit under Windows. Just as I made sure to not mess my NTFS partition (one of them is C:\) under Linux.

Also I have to do shit on my FAT32 EFI partition because Windows was stupid when it created it. 100 MB and I have Solus trying to increment the Kernel binaries every time I update (useful if something breaks, but not when I have limited space, and no way to expand it since my SSD is almost full on each partitions...)

I'm still salty after losing 2TB last year, which was one HDD, I didn't have a backup of that one and it hurt lol:)
