I'm not happy.

I'm not happy, I mean I have felt happy like joy and when I'm hearing a funny joke. But I'm not truly happy, I may have actual depression though I'm not sure since I know people who are much worse. The only way I feel anything of happiness is helping friends with thier problems, even if it helps them a while later they are back to feeling like shit. Not to mention it happens to multiple people everyday, my life is a metaphorical balancing act where I have to balance everything or fall down and lock away my feelings, which I don't want. Hell even today a friend from the Temp isnt doing well, those who know him know who I'm talking about, but I'd prefer you don't make it known. I can't even help him, which honestly destroys me. It's getting to a point where I feel I'm going to break and let me be honest and say it won't be a fun experience for anyone if I do. I'm not happy, at least I'm not truly happy. I don't even know if I ever will be, I'm hopeful but at this point with all this shit going on I'm reaching a breaking point. I want to help my friends, I want to make them feel loved, but when I can't help, it hurts.

Sorry for my incoherent rambling, I just needed to vent. I'm sorry for being a bad friend to anyone I've hurt unknown to my knowledge, and I'm sorry my current friends and especially one for not being able to help you right now.

Find something you like and dedicate yourself to it, don't let your mind escape as much as it's possible. That's what I do.

Take care man, sometimes it's better taking care of yourself before anything, even if it appears pointless.

hey dude, i'm sorry for hear that, i understand how you feel, i'm happy too but not truly happy, i feel bad if my friends are sad or something i try to help too sometimes, i feel bad even with people i don't know, i'm not that good on help with feelings since i can't even help myselft but, don't worry, in certain moments of our lifes we always get sad or feel destroyed, like trash, but you will always get better one day, also don't worry if you think you hurted someone if they are your friends they will understand and forgive you ^^

i'm sorry if i couldn't help you, i know how you feel and i really wanted to help, but i don't know how to say in words i mean, i don't know how to help in that way i kinda know but at the same time i don't know, it's hard to explain

Well, damn dude. Sorry you feel like that; but I've been having lots of anxiety for months. I'm getting better, and if I can, there's no reason why you can't.


Life isn't always rainbows and joy, sometimes it goes to shit. So, try and push through it and maybe there's some good things to come. If you ever need someone to talk to, you know where to message me.

'^' sorry to hear, life has its ups and downs but you should just try not to push yourself to hard about it. At least just look back at the good times and take a stroll down the good memory lane. Who knows, maybe you'll feel better afterwards.

I'm depressed right now and i know how it feels. PM whenever you want.

In my case, I'm trying to get better only because of my girlfriend, not for me. I know she loves me and I don't want to see her bad, so... you know

Literally at this exact time when you posted this, I was at a counselor for depression. Stop overbearing on yourself.

The counselor wasn't always helped. I know because my friend was depressed and went to a counselors all the time. She gave up. It wasn't helpful.

    I make rum cake for 4th July every year, I make it a week prior and then soak it in rum in the fridge all week. I flip the cake each day, and add little more rum, it soaks it up everyday, so good.
