Brexit! Brexit is not only a victory for UK but for a free Europe from EU!

What I said on the title, I can't really say in real life sadly just because I don't want to get punched or physically attacked and be called "racist" or "Nazi" but by suppressing myself, it's oppressing free speech. Such a shame Europe doesn't have the 1st and 2nd Amendments as the US does.

I've been following the news of how fucked the situation is in France and I hope to god that Le Pen wins the elections.

It's not like Trump did something great till now, I know it's not my business, not being from U.S. Do you really think she could fix the problems in France? I don't think but that's my opinion.

Goodbye, and don't let don't let the door hit you on the way out - just be ready to be a lot smaller soon.

Now the grownups can finally talk. Oh, I forgot, there's none left in Europe anyway, so it doesn't matter one way or the other.

The EU is all about protecting people from corrupt governments. That is why the politicians blame the EU for everything.

Could you elaborate on why this is such a great thing? Is it because of immigration or something else? With Brexit I only see downsides for farmers and poor regions which were benefitting from the internal market and EU subsidies respectively.

Can we please wait until we have some kind of result before declaring any kind of victory, it's like saying I won the Lottery when I've only just bought a ticket.

Uhm, the UK does recognize the right to free speech, just like virtually every free western country; you are simply misinterpreting its meaning: free speech means that the government cannot prosecute or incarcerate you based on your believes, it in no way implies that other individuals are supposed to sympathize with them.

Basically, this.

You're interesting me my dear. I am french, what do you mean by "fucked situation in France" ?

I'd just like to mention that because of Brexit, the people of Northern Ireland & Republic Of Ireland might get fucked since a border between them will most likely happen. There'll probably be border control so trade, agriculture and even tourism might get affected.

There will not be a border in Ireland - the troubles didn't end that long ago, and many people would be very angry.

There will be another solution.

@x65943 There is talk about a 'special status for ROI' and a frictionless border, hopefully Theresa May will keep to her word. But I agree, it was only the 100 year anniversary of irish independance last year so there most likely won't be anything done that angers some people.

You obviously do not live in France and obviously do not know who Le Pen is to say something this STUPID.

The outcome of Brexit has yet to be seen, but I personally believe it is a good thing that EU was shown that they can't take countries' memberships for granted and that they may need to work on improving their management if they don't want the same thing to happen again.

Le Pen is a brainless bastard. I personnaly support Macron, but welp. The UK was in the EU for years, taking only the advantages and not having the drawbacks. The British people decided to sucide itself, that's their decision. I just hope things get worse for them.

Why would you get punched for saying that... if the majority voted in favor of the idea?

Everyone having second thoughts?

@skawo What pisses me off is that a lot of people in GB now are saying that they didn't think that would actually happen, that they should re-organize the vote etc. In France, that's the same, people vote for Le Pen like if it was a joke.

Just like some people voting for Trump. I have heard some people vote for him because they were so curious into knowing what would happen under his rule. It's curiosity. Kinda like when people say that rules are meant to be broken just for the sake of curiosity,
