That's actually not uncommon in the furry world. In fact, studies done in the furry community have found the vast majority identify as something other than heterosexual or cisgender.

Well, you really aren't wrong. The furry community tends to be one the most accepting and open communities. Members really aren't afraid nor shamed for expressing themselves, thus they are free to be open without judgment from within the furry community. So it shouldn't be a shock that most furries aren't heterosexual/cisgender, because they aren't shamed into pretending to be straight/cisgender or ashamed of their sexuality/gender.
I went to a garage sell last saturday, and the lady had a PS2 for sale, but she had a sign on it that said "Nintendo -$50", had to laugh, almost bought but she didn't know if worked, and she didn't have controller or cables, so I passed.
