Nah, it's the same connection. Some act of witchcraft boosted the speed.

But yeah, I'll get a PS2 eventually. PCSX2 isn't perfect.

I recommend that you use the latest SVN builds for PCSX2, they fix a lot of things that PCSX2 officially has problems with, and there have been a few fixes for Ico during the time between the official release and the SVN release as well.
 
Hells Malice
I got 6mb/s on Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's. Which isn't exactly a new damn series...I was impressed.
I average 1mb/s.

2.3 is pretty damn nice for a PS2 game though. When I torrented any PS2 game I could never find a quick one...

    i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

    Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
