They are quite responsive to your brainwaves sometimes a little too responsive especially you think too much or have overactive brainwaves, the downsides are the cost ($111-$250 depending on where you get them, if you get them online expect to pay $200 minimum not including forwarding service fees, you'll need one because no one selling them online ships them outside of Japan normally, and if you are lucky to go to a convention that sells them, $160 and they take 4 AAA batteries which only last 4 hours.

Now if they can make a tail that moves.

Well, internet, it looks like we've finally found something sadder than the Pillow Partner, and far more expensive to boot!

I believe a Daki is worse than this, you can wear the ears at a convention, you would never have a Daki with you anywhere but in your house, I hope.

Anyone willing to spend that much on a set of ears should kill themselves immediately.

personally, i don't think cat ears are sadder than Pillow Partner.
these are just accessories. sometimes worn in cosplays maybe.

unlike the pillow partner which you get because they feel alone at night when they touch themselves.

however i am worried about where the close parenthesis symbol run off to.

I'd like to point out that this makes me wanting to spend $200 on two Fate/extra plushies look so much better.

plushies < cat ears that read your brainwaves

Nothing will ever justify the plushies.

The idea itself is cool, reading brainwaves and all, but seriously... People pay that much money for just some ears?
I have my 3€ cat ears which I bought for Carnaval (and use sometimes at home since it's good to hold my hair), but I'd never dare to walk in the streets on a normal day with them on my head, even if it's a 200$ for an embarrassing gadget like that (well, same could be said for like hundreds of other gadgets that exist for the weirdest reasons possible).
If they also had them in black color and costed at most 40$ or so, then I could pick a pair, just for cosplaying mind you.

If you're going to buy something pointless, you might as well max out the adorableness factor.

Some ugly lookin' cat ears that'll give you brain tumors isn't adorable at all.
