Sorry, long-dead thread. I just couldn't resist chiming in. It's simply hilarious that anyone believes MSFT's Gamepass has solved the piracy problem. I will never, ever pay a subscription for software, games, music, TV shows or movies. It will never happen. And there are at least tens of millions of us who feel the same way. And the fact that Netlfix has thousands of movies I'd never watch or that Spotify has millions of songs I'd never listen to or that MSFT has hundreds of games I have no interest in playing is not actually an incentive either. I say the following as an ex-MSFT employee: There is nothing exclusively on the Xbox One that I want enough to even download an emulator for, even if one existed (no one cares, so it's unlikely one ever will). So I'm certainly not going to pay a monthly fee for the privileged.

We might have world peace on day. We might even have an original Xbox emulator that can run half the titles. But the end of piracy?
Sorry. That's just not gonna happen. Not as long as I can VPN.
