Here is some questions i have before modding a Switch.

1. Is there a way to transfer data between a modded Switch and a stock Switch?
My father is going to buy a Switch OLED when christmas comes in, and i want to transfer all the data to there, is it possible without bricking or getting banned?

2. Any great Homebrew rather than just emulation?

3. Is Homebrew development for the Switch easy?

That's all the questions i have before finally modding my Switch!

3. Answer really depends on your background with programming. How good you are with C or C++, compiling, debugging, and so on? Those are main languages supported by this homebrew community. There is also Rust that is unofficially supported, you would need to ask people responsible for it to know more.

Any other language is practically unusable to do low level programming.

Normally no.

You need mod on both consoles to be able to transfer data. Depending the data you transfer and if you are careful you will not get banned
