Both Nintendo and buttons still exist in a post ipad 3 world. Who would've guessed.

This is some pretty impressive technology, though I don't think Apple will utilize it for all it's worth. Still, I can't wait to see what others manage to come up with.

kidding aside, this "tactile" screen would prove mighty useful for the blind and weak of sight. instant braille on a touch screen could prove to be a very, very effective and indispensable tool for them.

To be honest I wasn't hoping for a tactile display. I rather a beautiful screen with a retina display.

No Siri is a HUGE bummer for me. However I use it mostly for WA. Otherwise just dictation. So it doesn't matter that much.

Maybe now game buttons will work better on it with this since the main issue was that you could really "feel" the buttons so it didn't play well, hopefully this will change with friction and texture like feeling.

It'll probably have an option to turn it off, like the 3D on the N3DS.
