No XORpads, meaning you can skip that step as well. Just use the Launcher.dat and the GW website (go Gateway something, see D9 readme) or CakeHax OTPHelper.dat (again, D9 readme) from 4.5. I wouldn't view a non booting EmuNAND as a given for it not working on SysNAND, especially since there are some things strange with how GW implements things, so you will have to try. It is better if you let OTPHelper handle all the NAND dumping / restore for you anyways. And, as you have gone through that. make sure you at least have that OTP.bin. EDIT: Considering this, MSET may be the better entrypoint for you on 4.5. You should take a look into the D9 readme, that describes all possible entrypoints (OTPHelper, too).
@BakerMan
- you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.
The issue is DRM

You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
