Something I've longed for would be support of Wii titles be it on an actual Wii or on the vWii that used the Wii Classic controller to be able to use the Wii U pro controller. Maybe the downloadable Wii titles on the Wii U eshop allow for this (I haven't downloaded so i'm not sure, but I know that those titles do support playing them with the Wii U gamepad), but even if they do, this selection of games isn't large and if you already have them on the Wii you likely wouldn't want to buy them again anyway.
Now however, I believe a solution may exist, so if you're looking to play Brawl/Project M or whatever with a Wii U pro controller, that may now be possible:
Check out the Retro Receiver, an adapter made by 8bitdo that was made specifically for the NES Classic, but of course the classic utilizes the same port as Wiimotes do:
8bitdo is known for their bluetooth retro controllers, and lately have started creating adapter for classic systems including the NES and SNES to connect these bluetooth controllers to play your favorite old systems wirelessly and reliably. And now they've created a new adapter for the NES classic. Under the list of supported devices with the adapter on their site, you'll read:
Now, there is no word on how well this works on the Wii/vWii, but I don't see why they wouldn't work. Attach the adapter to your turned on wiimote and sync it with one of the devices listed including a Wii U Pro controller (weird idea, you could connect a Wiimote to a wiimote). of course any classic controller never had rumble on the Wii, so if this works, then the Wii U pro controller wouldn't rumble, which is a bit of a shame, but ultimately still pretty great if it indeed works.
