Meh, I have a Steam Deck. I'm fairly happy with it, but I use it as a replacement for my laptop, that died shortly before they announced it. SteamOS leaves a lot to be desired, when using it as a PC. I've updated the SSD to the 2TB Micron drive, and I'm dual-booting Windows 11. Biggest issue with SteamOS is the read-only root partition, where any changes get overwritten after a system update.

I should note that before getting the Steam Deck I was already hooked on Linux. I've been using Debian as my primary OS for nearly a decade.

The AOKZOE basically looks like a Steam Deck with slightly better specs (ok, maybe a little more than slightly), and no touchpads. I'm excited about all these handhelds that are coming out, but I don't plan on buying another one unless I see one that can run Debian with no drawbacks. I know I'm being kind of an oddball, as I'm using my Steam Deck primarily for work (web development) and as a gaming device second.

One of my favorite things about handheld gaming is how much more time I've been able to play games, when I otherwise wouldn't have been able to. I have an electric car, and it's so nice to be able to whip out my Steam Deck while waiting for my car to charge.
