Pff. Three problems with this statement. Firstly, Rare wanted to move on, so Nintendo forcing them to stick around would only have made them bitter. Secondly, Rare hasn't made any decent games since like 1998 (an estimate), so Nintendo definitely made the right move in cutting them loose. Thirdly, if Rare wanted to put Banjo-Kazooie on the DS, they would. They've already got two games on the DS, them being an MS property has no effect on their ability to release games on Nintendo systems.
