I got a 3ds xl off someone that had a broken hinge on the ribbon cable side. It cost me nothing so I gladly took it and got to work. After changing the top screen, camera, and speaker (Twice, because it tore the first time) as well as a new plastic front cover and it looked good as new. Only problem is it wont turn on.
When I press the power button there's absolutely no reaction from the system, no light flicker or pop. When I plug it in it turns solid orange and stays that way for a while. If I press the power button while it's plugged in it flickers blue for a moment but does nothing, no screen flicker or pop still.
Could a ribbon have gotten torn during repair again, or is this a dead battery?
