You speak of this thing like it's the holy grail of gaming. Yes, 5G is a thing, but there is still the issue with data caps for some services and peak periods. Keep in mind also that 5G is a high-frequency band, and is thus, more susceptible to interference than lower frequencies. In other words, your results will vary. If you're in a densely populated area and enough 5G hotspots around you with no trees interfering with your signal, then yeah, it will be viable. Video quality gets reduced when things don't go well for your connection, and in-house connectivity can be an issue, especially in household where 2+ people are trying to stream 4k video on Netflix. For most people, connections aren't going to be good enough that they'd get quality video in their streams. And expect lag spikes to be a real game killer for you, especially since it's on-demand, not pre-streamed. In all seriousness though, never get your hopes up. The Stadia service still has some of questions around it - another being game ownership. If the service gets shut down due to lack of adoption, then unless Google reimburses you, your games are gone. And right now, there is plenty of skepticism and a lot of people who prefer to own their game libraries on localized hardware rather than having it on some server in California. Unless Google pulls a miracle out of their ass with this service, it's only going to go as far as Steam Link did in terms of adoption, and may well go on Google's failed projects list.
I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
