Am I correct that the only difference is the SA controller has no vibration? That in a way, it's actually pretty neat since not everyone likes or cares about it.

afaik, yes. I don't know for 100% certainty though. sony said vibration was last gen after they got sued for patent infringement for it. once that was cleared up, the dual shock 3 appeared.

I've finally tried a SixAxis controller, it's no different than a DualShock 3, but there's no vibration. It felt weird that I was playing GTA IV, crashing into other cars, yet no vibration.

I got used to it.

Something cool: SixAxis uses a black translucent case which the hardware can be seen ever so slightly.

Might eventually order a one dozen clear cases since I have so many DS3s (they came with the consoles).
