Hey guys I recently updated my emunand and I was wondering if I could get Ninjhax working again... I heard there was a file you can use that spoofs the 3DS into using the hack again, but I cant find it.

If there currently isnt away todo this, is there away to take the Ninjhax homebrew and convert it to .cia files?

~Thanks for any comments received

:( is that the only way? I remember someone getting it working on later firmwares

Though not impossible, it's basically not probable with the available tools
Not every ninjhax stage got patched, but some key components have been fixed so yeah, not possible without someone fully RE'ing some parts and posting the code source or something along those lines.
There's probably some people with some kind of exploit still working, but they probably are either fictional or just keeping things private

Not really seeing the point in using it on emunand, since your sysnand needs to be at 9.2 or lower to use any form of emunand

You could just do Ninjhax on sysNAND, because emuNAND needs below 9.2.....

Yea, but what if your using a gateway to launch ninjahax? XD Can I install it as a .cia on the sysnand?

well once a long time ago 9.2 was the latest update :teach:

I believe you can enter Gateway mode on sysNAND if you insert a SD card without an emuNAND or no SD card at all.
Then just launch cupid ninja from the multirom menu thingy. If you're on 4.5, it'll work too.
Otherwise, install the 9.2 CIAs from that one iso site thingy. It's got a neat tutorial and all.

P.S. I don't own a gateway, but from what I've heard, this should be possible.

In my case, the eStore version on my SysNAND is too low. I'm running 4.1.0.4j, and that .4 at the end is too low to be compatible with Ninjhax. I've confirmed this with Smealum. So even though I own a legitimate Cubic Ninja cartridge, it's a no-go on my SysNAND because I have no way to update the eStore on the SysNAND.

It's not an issue for me as such because I have 9.2 EmuNAND with a later eStore version so I load Ninjhax through there. But it does mean I'm stuck on 9.2 EmuNAND (bar having a separate SD for 9.7+ EmuNAND and switching).

^ there's a couple of different ways now to install an updated browser cia to sysnand, so you can use ninjhax. I did it using gateway on a card with no emunand.

download the browser as cia via 3DNUS
titleID
EU = 0004003000009D02
US = 0004003000009402
JPN = 0004003000008802
and all should be version 2050

now im not sure if the number will actually update in system settings, i "think" it should, but even if it doesnt, just use the -7 option on the ninjhax setup page and it *should* work

    Again don't play on PC, nor would play that. And who knows, some those "issues" could just be your PC.

    When I used to game on PC, I'd pirate PC games all the time, and some yes would crash often, maybe they were bad rips or something. I've had my SeriesX for over 2 years now and never have had a game crash yet, or any game breaking bugs. I have seen weird bugs like NPC walking thru floors or walls, but not often.

    @BigOnYa PC games like to crash, satisfactory crashes every like 8 hours for me, there's some kinda leak with unreal engine objects so it hits the max object count and crashes

    and minecraft had a memory leak, over time the game slowed down more and more and i saw the ram usage slowly increasing, eventually it would crash if i left the game on all night
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    console games on the other hand have to be better optimized, theres less resources so those leaks get caught early and fixed, is my guess

    but the issues probably exist on the pc versions of those games too, they just don't get noticed because there are more resources available

    since the pc and console versions are the same code base

    There is also the issue of people learning programming on languages with garbage collectors - so when faced with C/C++ they just allocate memory and do not even realise they have to free the heap as well...

    @lwiz, The issues with noobies who are trying to learn any programming language or modding a console, is that they say "Any x experts out here?". If they at least asked the damn question, then it wouldn't be riddled with confusing nonsense. I cannot fathom how nobody even has the ability to think when following instructions.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    There are also tutorials and books that you can read which gives you a better understanding on the subject, even if you don't get it the first time, it does help to boost you up the learning curve. :P

    I've just spent hours making new flashcart labels, one that is for a DS Fire Card. I have some good experience when it comes to art design. 7+ years learning Photoshop, now onto GIMP, it's a lot easier to facilitate.
