Hello,
a friend of mine gave me his broken Nintendo Switch so I can try to repair it.
According to him it just stopped working one day. I tried to find any shorts but there are none and charging works just fine.
So I assume the M92 and BQ Chips are okay. When I try to turn it on nothing happens and when I plug it into my PC it shows up as switch in RCM Mode.
Also the voltages on the MAX Chips seem to be fine like in this article: retrosix [.]wiki/max77620-cpu-regulator
It seems that it hangs somewhere in first stage boot.
Because it is an older Model which is still exploitable I tried to inject a payload with TegraRCMGUI and the injection seems to work just fine.
But after a successfull injection only the backlight turns on, but the screen shows nothing.
I suspect to have a broken APU and my next attempt would be to reflow it.
Do you have any idea what I could try?
