Are unopened V2 switches running older firmware possible to be jailbroken?

I am thinking of purchasing a v2 switch after my old v1 switch died, however since it is not moddable by default (unless, as far as I understand, it has to be at a certain firmware version or lower) I am confused which version to get. Currently amazon lists mario, animal crossing and monster hunter editions of the v2 console along with the og v2 model. Since they're not unboxed I assume its highly likely they havent been upgraded, but the question remains if its below the required firmware version (if there is any way to know it, at all).

If v2 models are *all* unhackable regardless I figure I should get an oled instead.

V1 Unpatched firmware doesn't matter, V1 patched firmware 4.1.0 and below only

You can find them but harder to source based on where you located.
