Hardware Homebrew Misc 3ds camera only works with homebrew apps

my old 3ds xl external camera doesn't work with normal apps/games but somehow works with fbi and homebrew apps. my internal camera works fine tho.
i really need my camera to work to scan qr codes, please help

same thing happen to me after i updated the FW today, i think nintendo update bricked the 3D camera
